Its high point is arguably NHL 94, often considered one of the best sports video games ever made. This alone deters a bit from the immersion this games once provided. The NHL video game series debuted in 19991 as NHL Hockey for the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis.

Developer DT3 Limited does a great job with this emulator improving the gameplay, and tweaking the title to enhance performance and adapt to current days. Guaranteed to scratch that nostalgia itch, and take you back into a time where games were simpler, and easier to just plug in and play. But the good outweighs the bad, and playing through these games is a blast. Like most collections of games this one also has titles that aren’t must-play titles, or genre-defining ones.
